Corporate Document Notarization (Remote Online Notarization)
Marcum Virtual Notary provides Remote Online Notarization (RON) for a wide range of corporate and business documents using a secure, Texas-approved online platform. These services are ideal for businesses with remote signers, time-sensitive needs, or multi-party documents requiring efficient execution.
All notarizations are completed entirely online and include identity verification, electronic signatures, tamper-evident seals, and required session recording. All services are provided by Marcum Virtual Notary are done via Remote Online Notarization (RON) only. In-person notarizations are not available.
Corporate Documents Commonly Accepted for RON
The following business documents are widely accepted for Remote Online Notarization and may be notarized online with confidence:
Corporate resolutions
Business affidavits
Sworn statements and declarations
Operating agreements
Partnership agreements
LLC member or manager consents
Authorization letters
Compliance affidavits
Vendor or contractor affidavits
Employment-related sworn documents
Corporate Powers of Attorney (when permitted by the receiving party)
These documents are typically internal to a business, financial institution, or organization and do not require county recording, making them well-suited for Remote Online Notarization.
Documents Handled on a Case-by-Case Basis
Some corporate documents may have acceptance requirements set by the receiving party (such as a bank, government agency, or foreign authority). These documents may be eligible for RON but are not guaranteed to be accepted without prior confirmation.
Examples include:
Bank-specific documents
Documents intended for foreign use
Documents requiring Apostille certification
Documents with institution-specific notarization instructions
Clients are responsible for confirming acceptance requirements with the receiving party before scheduling. Eligibility does not guarantee acceptance, and prior confirmation with the receiving party is strongly recommended.
Documents Not Advertised for Remote Online Notarization
To avoid delays or rejection, Marcum Virtual Notary does not advertise or guarantee Remote Online Notarization for the following:
Documents requiring wet-ink signatures
Documents requiring physical or embossed seals
Documents that explicitly state “in-person notarization required”
Documents requiring county recording (such as deeds or mortgages)
Documents that prohibit electronic signatures or electronic notarization
These documents may require in-person notarization or additional approval outside the scope of Remote Online Notarization. All services are provided by Marcum Virtual Notary are done via Remote Online Notarization (RON) only.
